Mythren

Mythren is a voxel sandbox survival game that blends exploration, crafting, combat, and multiplayer in a charming pixel world. Dig, build, farm, fight, and survive alone or with friends across handcrafted biomes filled with unique creatures and environmental challenges.

A World to Explore

Venture through five distinct biomes, each with its own character and atmosphere:

Plains — Open grasslands dotted with wild pigs and sheep, perfect for early exploration and building.

Oak Forests — Dense woodlands rich with oak trees and peaceful grazing animals.

Deserts — Arid wastelands of sand and sandstone, free of mobs but sparse on resources.

Taiga — Cold spruce forests filled with podzol soil, ferns, and mushrooms—a quieter, colder refuge.

Flower Plains — Beautiful rolling meadows carpeted with Rose Blooms, a sanctuary for builders and adventurers seeking beauty.

Underground caves hide beneath every biome with richer ore deposits. Water systems flow through the world, creating rivers and oceans you can swim through.

Survival Mechanics

Your journey begins fragile. Manage your health and hunger—food spoils over time if left uncooked, forcing you to plan meals carefully. Every decision matters:

Fall damage punishes careless jumps from high places.

Cactus damage teaches you to respect desert plants.

Drowning makes deep water lethal without preparation.

Starvation drains your health when hunger runs too low.

Environmental hazards like the [Redacted] spread poison across certain terrains, creating deadly zones you'll want to avoid.

Different meals give different satisfaction levels. Well-cooked food from the furnace satisfies you more than eating raw meat, so you stay full longer between meals. Plan your diet strategically—cooking food at the furnace is worth the effort.

Mining, Crafting, and Building

Gather resources with the right tools for the job. Craft wooden pickaxes to start, then upgrade to stone tools, axes, and swords. Each tool breaks different materials at different speeds—chop wood with an axe, mine ore with a pickaxe. Tool durability means every swing counts; wear them down and craft replacements.

Build freely with dozens of blocks:

Terrain blocks (dirt, grass, sand, stone, sandstone, limestone, podzol)

Wood variants (oak wood, spruce wood, oak planks)

Decorative blocks (wool, various mushrooms, leaves, cactus)

Special blocks (furnaces, structure blocks)

Craft slabs and stairs from most materials—they orient based on where you look. Stack slabs, place blocks on slabs, and place slabs on blocks for maximum design flexibility.

Furnace Crafting

Craft a furnace from 8 stone blocks and place it in your world. Right-click to open it and load fuel and items. Watch it cook with visible burn progress and cooking time. Smelting recipes will be added in future updates.

Combat and Creatures

Peaceful mobs inhabit every biome: pigs drop raw porkchop, and sheep provide both raw mutton and white wool for crafting. They won't attack, making them ideal early targets for food.

Hostile mobs also exist. Zombies spawn in three different appearances, giving their hordes more variety. Stone Golems have high health and powerful strikes—avoid them until well-armed.

The rare Blockle appears when mining dirt—a fleeing creature that runs at high speed. Catch it and claim your reward: a 50/50 chance for raw iron ore or extra dirt. Success requires timing and strategy.

Combat is direct: left-click to swing your equipped weapon. See health bars, damage numbers, and particle effects as you fight. Toggle PvP on or off—fight other players or enjoy peaceful co-op survival.

Character Customization and Cosmetics

Express yourself with full character customization. Paint any body part unlimited colors while keeping the original texture, or edit individual pixels for total control. Earn cosmetics through achievements—display them in your cosmetics menu. Each cosmetic retains its original look and can't be painted upon.

Achievements and Progression

Track your progress through a skill-tree style achievement system.

Getting Your First Wood! — Collect your first wood. Unlock the Wood Cosmetic.

Beginner Tool Maker — Craft stone axes, swords, and pickaxes. Unlock the Auto Switcher toggle.

Cool Flower! — Find a Rose Bloom in the wild. Unlock the RoseBloom Head Cosmetic.

Some achievements unlock others, and special ones unlock new world toggles or cosmetics. Toast notifications alert you when you earn achievements—tap any toast to jump straight to it in the achievement tree.

World Customization

Create worlds your way, with 19 different gameplay settings there is much to think about.

Walking, Jumping, Sprinting, Sneaking, Swimming, Fall Damage, Cactus Damage, Starvation Damage, PvP, Mining, Placing Blocks, Crafting, Opening Chat, Opening Inventory, Using Commands, Food Expires, Mob Griefing, Easter Eggs, and Taking Screenshots can all be individually enabled or disabled.

Turn off fall damage for relaxed building, disable mob griefing to protect your builds, or flip PvP off for peaceful co-op.

Multiplayer and Shared Worlds

Host multiplayer worlds and invite friends using simple Room IDs. Create up to 2 servers per account. Join other players' worlds or let them join yours. Manage permissions as owner, controlling who can place, mine, and craft. Play together, build together, survive together.

Immersive Audio Design

Every sound had positional audio. Positional audio means sounds come from where they happen in the world—footsteps pan to your left when a zombie runs past on your left, furnace hums drift closer as you approach, sheep bleats tell you which direction to look. Audio cues guide exploration and combat without cluttering the screen.

Furnace ambience crackles and pops as it cooks. Each mob has its own voice—Stone Golems emit gravelly growls and heavy footsteps, Blockles emit sharp whines when caught. Each biome has distinct ambience: Taiga is cold and quiet, while oak forests are warm and full of life.

The Structure Block

Capture your best creations with the Structure Block. Use it to save builds as snapshots. Load snapshots later to rebuild elsewhere or share ideas with friends.

Controls and Accessibility

Right-click to interact with furnaces, doors, and workstations. Left-click to mine and fight. Use the built-in wiki and help to learn controls, crafting recipes, and features at any time. Pixel-art UI styling keeps the aesthetic consistent and readable even in fast-paced moments.
